“Let’s Do Experiment!”
On July 25 and 26, an open laboratory course was held for junior high school students in the prefecture.
The purpose of the lecture was to have students enjoy science by experiencing the experimental apparatuses and equipment used at the university.
Associate Professor Yoshino and Associate Professor Yamamoto of our department and Professor Nishimura of the Department of Life and Environment were in charge of each theme.
Although many of the topics were difficult, I am sure that the students found them interesting.
Dr. Yoshino’s class: “Let’s look at it under the microscope”
Dr. Yamamoto’s class: “Let’s try using digestive enzymes”
Dr. Nishimura’s class: “Let’s make a battery”
