Making special signs for the Organic Marche
The Department of Regional Resource Development offers a second-year course called Field Science Practicum II. This is an experiential learning program in which students go out into the community themselves and work with local residents to solve problems and promote the community. One of the themes of the program is the Organic Marche organized by Organic PGS Hiroshima (held at Shikinomiri-Nokichi). Two students, Yusei Tashiro and Takato Nakagawa, have been involved in this project since the beginning of the school year, and they spent two days making signs to liven up the venue. In addition to making the signboard, we learned about the various issues that need to be addressed in discussions with local residents. (September 8, 2024)
